Roanoke..our stopover point for the trip to Grace House. We arrived safely after an uneventful journey. This is an "all girl road trip" and so we began searching for a name...female fixers?...laboring ladies?...builder babes? Maybe you could make a suggestion in a comment, or vote for your favorite. At any rate, we are excited and anxious to arrive on the mountain. Who will be there this year? How difficult will the work be? Whether this is our first trip or fifth, we long for it to begin so we can feel useful and comfortable. Those of us who have been at Grace House before assure our newbies that while we may not always feel comfortable, we will be welcomed and gently cared for.
